OVERVIEW
Priya recently purchased an EV and was relying on a slow standard outlet for overnight charging. She wanted a dedicated Level 2 charging setup in her garage that would charge faster, safer, and without straining her home's existing electrical system.
THE CHALLENGE
The garage had no existing 240V circuit nearby, and the electrical panel's available capacity needed to be verified before committing to a dedicated 50A breaker. The charger location also required weatherproof conduit routing along an exterior wall.
THE SOLUTION
After confirming the panel had sufficient capacity through a full load calculation, we ran a dedicated 240V circuit with a 50A breaker directly to the garage, installed weatherproof conduit along the exterior wall, and mounted the Level 2 charger at an accessible height. The job was completed and inspected within a single day.
